Materials:
+ Cod Fish meat (any white fish meat) 500 grams
+ 5 eggs
+ starch 500 to 700 grams
+ some fresh ginger
+ butter (or lard) 50 grams
+ some salt
 
Steps:
1. mash fish meat with ginger and butter;
2. mix fish mashes with egg white (keep yolk in a bowl and stir them a little bit for later usage);
3. mix fish mashes with starch and some water;
4. mill the mixture with hand for 20 to 30 min;
5. add some salt to the mixture and mill it with hand again for 10 to 15 min; (this could be a tiring job)
6. pour the mixutre into mold (could be a regular cake mold);
7. steam the cake for 30 min;
8. smear the yolk on the surface of the cake and steam it for another 5 min;
 
Eat:
+ cool the fishcake, slice it and eat it with red vinegar;
+ or slice the fishcake, stir-fry them with mashroom or fungus and vegetables.
